I tried to remove all the Adobe files I could from my system so I could re-install Adobe Reader and Flash.
As you might guess, this took a long time because Adobe drops files in all kinds of places. I didn't delete everything. Some files I didn't touch because I wasn't sure how important it was to other functions of the computer. Unlikely perhaps, but I don't know what all the folders and files on my computer do (not like the System Folder in OS 9 days).
I moved everything into a folder and deleted some that were empty folders or looked like duplicates. Still have 63 MB in a folder labeled Adobe Stuff.
Is there any Adobe software that comes installed with the machine? That I souldn't touch?
I don't know whether I can delete these (folders are not empty):
1) Acrobat folder, Acrobat 14-26-23 folder, Acrobat User Data folder
2) Adobe AIR Application Installer, Adobe AIR Uninstaller, AIR folder
3) Adobe PCD folder
4) Linguistics folder, Help folder
5) TypeSpt folder
6) Updater5, Updater5 14-26-35, Updater6, Updater6 14-26-37 folders
7) Two Updater5 and Updater6 folders each.
