I changed the password for airport extreme, it went good. But the express would not work. I changed a few things with that and now nothing is recognized after several reboots. lost.

If you haven't done this already, it looks like a reset of the affected units is in order, followed by a setup from scratch. Shouldn't be all that bad if you documented any customization you applied last time around.
