The phone is old, but it is really pocket-sized and very durable and has a slide-out keyboard, perfect for throwbacks like me. ATT just gave me FREE internet on it, but it only has this ATT NET browser that doesn't really understand HTML. Is there a way to put Firefox OS or something like that on it? I found YouTube videos of teenagers claiming to hack these phones, mostly grabbing themes and games, one person says he runs Opera Mini. I would prefer some kind of Firefox browser.

It seem to be that you should check directly with mozilla.org, in particular http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/partners/, to see if there's anything which fits your situation and desire.

Thanks, I did look at that page. It is Mozilla's business partners who are now releasing new phones that have the Firefox browser installed. I have an old phone and I don't know if and how I can install Firefox on it. I guess I can call LG tomorrow, but I doubt anyone at the consumer level of support would have an answer. The phone has been discontinued for years.

There are also Mozilla user groups out in cyberspace which could be Googled, in addition to Firefox's Twitter and Facebook accounts (if you're so inclined).

And now you know why AT&T gave you FREE Internet service on that phone!
