Neighbor bought a macbook air 13" (our old demo) and is looking for an external optical drive. We carry one but it's $80. Best Buy carries some for $50. NewEgg goes as low as $33 or so. Several of them look like they require two usb ports and I know power can be an issue with USB drives.
What's your best recommendation for an ext ODD for a MBA?
(also of note, the mba has one usb port on each side, so those Y power cables don't even work without an extension)
