I'm using a late 2006 Macbook, Intel, OS10.6.8.
All my printing jobs have been coming through with the top line of each page missing and the right side lacking several letters of each line. This outcome is forecast each time by the Preview software. What can I do to fix this? Doesn't make any difference what browser I use. There has to be some buttons somewhere to better locate the text on the printing page.Where do I look? Thanks all.

- problem go away with a different account?

- reinstall printer drivers if possibe?

- test printer on another computer with same test conditions?

- safe boot to clear caches?

- delete and re-add printer?

- reset print system?

- reinstall 10.6.8 combo updater?

In Firefox, it automatically ticks "Ignore scaling and shrink to fit page width", here.

Firefox > File > Page Setup, also has a scaling option (%).

The problem is fixed and thanks to all for your assistance. Don't ask me what I did exactly, but there was nothing "automatic" about the restoration of the page alignment. I think what ultimately allowed the text to once again fit the page was the fact that I MANUALLY restored the scale to 100% from the 90% where I had had it to save ink.
