Depends. What transpired between the deletion and now? It's like data on any medium—it is not physically removed, its location is just available for new data.
Having said that, if you do a search on "sd card recovery" many options are presented; most are not free. Recovering lost information is a big business.

Well, there are is a lot of software out there that claims to recover from SSD drives. I just don't want to use one that's adware or other types of malware. Can anyone suggest something?
I think users here are assuming the files were deleted or the card was erased... is that the issue or is there some other problem? (computer doesn't detect the card, card reads as 0mb capacity, error when card is inserted, files are there but refuse to copy, files are all zeros, files copy but contain garbage, etc)
