If you have a supported Netgear router (see this page for more info) you can now print to any printer from your iDevice with the Netgear Genie application.

The printer does not have to be wireless, does not have to support AirPrint. It just has to be connected, either by USB or wireless, to some other device on the network or to the network itself. Extremely easy to setup (nothing is done with the printers; it all happens within the Genie application on your Mac or iDevice) and as far as I can tell, the only downside is that the Genie app has to be running to make it all happen. Printing happens within any app on the iPhone or iPad that supports printing.

For free, it is worth it if you have the need and the appropriate hardware.

On a Mac since 1984.
Currently: 24" M1 iMac, M2 Pro Mac mini with 27" BenQ monitor, M2 Macbook Air, MacOS 14.x; iPhones, iPods (yes, still) and iPads.
