I've been using the ppc build of the command line app "setlabel" to set the finder label color of files. But I just upgraded to 10.8 (from 10.6) and all my ppc command line utils need to be replaced. I can't find a ppc build for setlabel. (and I'm about to punch out Safari for changing "setlabel" to "set label" every %@&! time I type it on a form) It's not part of dev tools. I installed that and got my getfileinfo, setfile, and some others updated. Sethidden appears to be hard to replace (I ripped that off an os install disk) but setfile -a V does the trick so that's not critical.
(Grumpy Old Man mode is in full effect right now with all the "helpful changes" in 10.8 that I can't seem to shut off)
