Mousing around and the display goes off

I just got a new 27" and something new happens. I'm just mousing around normally and intermittently the display goes dark. It will come up if I click around a bit. I do have only the left bottom corner set to shut off the display, but this is happening when the cursor is in others areas randomly. Thanks.

Try removing the left bottom corner shut off location and see if the problem goes away. If so, you are either wandering unknowingly or the setting is wonky.

If not, then check to see if another location (unintentionally) is also set to shut off. If another location is not set, how about a mouse setting? Check those in System Preferences too.

On a Mac since 1984.
Currently: 24" M1 iMac, M2 Pro Mac mini with 27" BenQ monitor, M2 Macbook Air, MacOS 14.x; iPhones, iPods (yes, still) and iPads.

Good point Ira, I will shut it off and see, just happened now, the mouse moved left and the display went off, yet it was not anywhere near bottom left corner.

It's set to only bottom left corner.

Just started after getting new computer, all did was migrate.
