Having been born and raised in a family that arrived in Texas when it was a Republic, I have encountered quite a few Wingoesque Texans in my time. The characters/stories are legion and allowing for the traditional slight embellishments mostly true. Wingo however is a new one on me. Thanks for passing that along.
