Some of you might already know about this but there is a good troubleshooting tool that came out recently. It’s called Etrecheck and it does a really deep dive into your system and produces a detailed report of hardware and software, daemons, launch agents, plugins, kernel extensions, and the like. This comes ion really handy when trying to diagnose a tough problem. The author first made it available via the Apple discussions forums and it immediately became a hit. People post their Etrecheck report so the power users can suggest what might be going on.
