I just wanted to say thank you to all that you have done for me and for other Mac users over many years. I don't know how you do it, or why, given the demands of time, money, etc. on our busy lives.

I've been living in the Mac ghetto for over 25 years and it means a lot to be able to find a group of people pooling their efforts for an OS that gets less than 10% share.

To have a free service like this has been such a great help to me. I have often referred family members and others to this site if they have any questions I can't answer.

I also like that the format and appearance of the site hasn't change much over the years. You haven't done a huge, stupid makeover like Version Tracker, CNET, AllMusic Guide etc.

Thanks to the owners of this site, the moderators, and to all the people who generously contribute their knowledge and experience in a timely and friendly manner.

Really, you guys are the best.

And back "before the deluge" ~ tectonic shift ~ quantum leap in 2009, it was so with FTM's predecessor, until it lost its way and required reincarnation ~ phoenix from the ashes.

I agree. I followed the group here and registered the next day after FTM went on the air. I feel deep gratitude for the many assists and also for the friendship.

If you want another source of advice, I have found the folks at Tech Survivors to be very helpful as well. You might want to explore its forums.
