It seems the Discovery channel aired a two-hour special in which a man was going to be eaten alive by a snake - a giant Anaconda. The Washington Post reported, in part:
"The guy in question (conservationist/snake expert Paul Rosolie) panicked when the snake started to put its mouth around his head and began to crush his arm, so he frantically called for his team to shut down the whole operation. They did, and a group of experts rushed in to pull Rosolie out of the snake’s grasp. This was to the dismay of many viewers, who tuned in and expected more grisly action…"
Really? The viewers were dismayed?
What a commentary on how far our society is sliding.
