Dell Inspiron N5110, probably failing hdd. So lets take it out and test it since no PC bios has figured out FW target disk mode yet.

Hmmm no hatch on the bottom,, guess we'll have to take off the top.

Well there's the HDD I think, I can just see the spindle label though. It must be UNDER the motherboard? Will have to remove that too I guess...

Ummm ok where is it?

Oh you have GOT to be kidding me! They actually bolted it to the underside of the motherboard...

I think they'd probably just pot it all solidly in glue if glue wasn't more expensive than screws.
