Gotta love Cnet's Admin's new welcome message to MacFixIt members. Are they paying any attention?

Oh and apparently cnet.aaron is putting forth the notion that "the community there (MacFixIt) is harsh on new users and that conversations often devolved into flame wars" in defense of complaints about the cnet forums.

It seems that the posts refuting Cnet's claims about the treatment of New users at MFI were deleted. So the suppression of the truth has already begun over there. I'm surprised they haven't deleted all threads pertaining to cnet and FTM over at MFI yet.

Don't know who handles MFI's Twitter, but my most recent encounter (there have been several since the CNET announcement) went like this:

Me: "The @mac_fix_it forums are dead; Long live FineTunedMac! http://finetunedmac.com #finetunedmac"

@mac_fix_it: "Actually you can find a lot of great MacFixIt Forum people still active on the new CNET Mac Forums ... They live, just moved."

Yeah, just not at CnEt...
