In response to cyn's post of 8-6, Jon, Harv, ganbustein and I have submitted, refined, and completed contributions to the anticipated FTM MacFAQ Forum.

At today's date, as indicated by their (linked) final or close-to-final posts, the following FAQs are ready to see the light of day in said forum:

(Please note that the completion dates of the listed FAQs range from 8-28 to 9-11, between 2 and 4 weeks ago.)

I'm wondering, therefore, what has kept MacFAQs from being added to the FTM Forums menu?

We jumped on the band-wagon, but our efforts on behalf of the FTM community have, to a disappointingly significant degree, been ignored, and I'm wondering what sort of message that sends to others who either have been solicited to contribute - MMT3, V1, and Hal come to mind - or have not been solicited but are considering contributing nonetheless?

I've got a second FAQ going, but I'm not about to devote another second to it before I see some movement on the part of the power(-)s that be.

Due to unforeseen events I've found myself unable to devote the time and energy needed to get the Mac FAQ forum open. Other important FTM projects have suffered as well. I wish it were otherwise, but stuff happens...best laid plans and all that. I'm hoping October will be better and I'll be able to get my To-Dos back on track.

No sweat, cyn; I understand, and I hope your life straightens itself out quickly and satisfactorily.

A preemptive heads-up, though, would have saved us from this exercise.
