For the past couple days I've noticed that my avatar (an animated GIF) is no longer animated. And it seems to be the case only with mine. Any thoughts on how to fix it?

The cat's marching as normal when I view your avatar.....maybe it "just works" for everyone else?

Why would it affect only me and all of a sudden?
I'd like to fix it (if only for me).

EDIT: I just closed and re-opened my browser (Firefox). Problem apparently solved. Avatar is re-animated. Clearly ex-machina.

Your pussy cat occasionally gets frozen in position on my deuced Mac(hina), but I'm always able to restore animation by clearing Safari's cache; perhaps the same approach or quitting/relaunching will work with Firefox.

Edit: Crossed in the mail.

Yours is the only animated gif with which I've ever experienced the issue, and, as per V1 (when I posted this exact same issue some time ago), it's got to do with the length of time it's been running.

Yep, that definitely sounds like a caching issue.....restarting Firefox was a good action to take.
