Cheers, SkipR

Welcome to FTM! That's an excellent idea for an enhancement request. Something along the lines of how BlackBerryForums.com does it works for me. I like how they also offer My Yahoo and Google links. Now that our site performance issues seem to be mostly gone, should be a good time to build out awareness and ease of access. (And now that Franklin's back in town)

PS: I'm sure the mods'll move this to the Feedback forum

According to http://www.ubbcentral.com/doc_admin.php#forums it is a feature of UBB.threads.

It is indeed possible to set up RSS feeds for the forums; this is a built-in option for UBB.threads, in fact.

By default, the option is switched off. It's easy enough to switch on; I'll leave that call to the board moderators.

RSS feeds I understand, use and like - but UBB.threads are a closed book to me! blush

In the absence of any Mod's reply, please will someone tell us whether this is something we can switch on and, if so, how?

RSS feeds aren't enabled at this point (though I'm considering it), so it's not an option you can switch on.

BTW, FTM's running a more recent version of UBB.threads than MFIF was/is but it's not all that different. wink

Thanks, cyn.

I understand the sentence "RSS feeds ... switch on" but the bit "BTW ... different" appears to have been erroneously translated into Ancient Swahili and my Babel Fish is able to translate it back into English (even American "English").

Please humour an old man and explain what FTMs, UBB.threads and MFIFs are/were!

Sorry Bozz!

FTM = FineTunedMac (there's actually a FTM home page but I was referring to these forums)
UBB.threads = the forum software we're using here at FTM
MFIF = MacFixIt Forums

Does that help?

It seems so simple when you explain it!

Thanks.
