OP thepetspider Joined: Oct 2010	My desk top loks like my old desk top with the HD in the top right corner and my idisc below that yet when I am in the mac store the desk top has the HD and application in the doc. I have tried view options but there are no options for hiding the hd or moving it. I am using the new mac. 10.6.4

MarkG Joined: Aug 2009	Try this, Put the Macintosh HD and the iDisk into the Dock. When in the the finder go to the finder in the menu and go to Preferences. Click on General Tab and uncheck both Hard disks and External disks. Hope it woks and is what you are looking for. Mark
